Revolutionary design in the urban context

Immersed in a classic urban context, the design of this building created by architect Francesco Pinton, creates a unique structural within the context in which it is located. The chromatic and material peculiarity of ARDES DRY PLANK HI-TECH Color strikes the eye of the curious and enhances the vertical surfaces, making this villa a jewel of modern design.

objective

The single-family residence object of the work is located north of Padua in a newly built building development area represented by small modern buildings and numerous private residences. In urbanization there was a prevalence of modern style, extremely uniform and in the eyes of the designer too uniform and banal. The idea of greater creativity and stylistic innovation was the keystone of this project. The characterizing material had to be the wood but the physical botanical limits of this raw material restrained its use and application. After careful selection by the designer, the necessary technical details were dealt with and finally the ARDES DRY PLANK HI-version was chosenTECH once understood that this product did not have the limits of friability and leaching typical of the old Shou Sugi ban technique. The need for aesthetic customization of the work was an important requirement to meet.

of intervention

The chosen material was applied with Accoya wooden storage unit anchored separately after preparation and alignment of the frame on the wall that had already been suitably protected by a clay coat. The slats were fixed using the technique of side tightening with invisible screws angled on the sides of the slats, hidden from the front view. Once on the wall the material was able to meet and surpass the expectations of the designer who was very satisfied with the response and the variations of fiber and color to the change of light. The charred larch is able to respond perfectly to the expectations of the client, guaranteeing a natural look and texture that perfectly matches the modern and minimal style of the residence.
