A project by ASA studio Albanese, which takes life and inspiration from the basalt rocks of the Gambellara (VI) Italy hills, on which VOLCANALIA stands.

The particular climatic conditions of the area, combined with the search for maintenance-free flooring, found an extremely versatile answer in the Accoya Decking line. How to combine an urban walkway project with an ideal of sustainability, naturally implanted in the natural context of Lake Garda?

This is the question that guided our intervention for the paving project in the municipality of Bardolino del Garda in Italy. We chose the wood of the Accoya line, with cutting-edge finish with non-slip effect, combined with a color made with a particular oil treatment in the shade of light gray, to simulate the natural oxidative action of uv rays on the surface.

La tipologia lignea maggiormente impiegata nel trattamento FIRESKIN è il legno di Larice. Tale legno normalmente ha una vita media di circa 20/25 anni, dopo i quali si innesca l'inesorabile marcescenza.
